A British-Italian Expat, here in Rome for 6 years. You can find me in coffee shops, people watching or around town with my backpack searching for the best street food or authentic espresso. Naturally curious, and with 48 countries under my travel belt I am always looking to add a new experience and dive into the local culture. Just like when you get home and you want to tell all your friends about your holiday, I want to share and tell you all about Rome. Together we will open doors and look through windows the average tourist may not experience.

About the Tour

Rome At Dusk

** LEGENDS. MYTHS. DICTATORS. EMPERORS. BEST PHOTOS. LOCAL COFFEE. **

To begin we will meet you at the incredible Trajan's Column next to the famous Piazza Venezia.

From here we will discuss the history and legend behind the famous Trajan's Column and help paint a visual picture of the surrounding ancient Roman market places.

We will continue on to explore Rome's most famous Piazza and discuss the unification of Italy and some of its more recent history.

The Tour highlights continue, passing by Rome's smallest church, Rome's most famous coffee shop, a church with a hidden painted illusion and stories and scandals of some of Rome's recent politicians.

Of course, in addition to all this, you are going to see the main sights and the best in central Rome.

Including the Pantheon, The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and more.

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: We will be holding a Guru Walks Sign at the base of Trajan's Column next to Piazza Venezia.

Oliver was really accomodating. I am a solo female traveller and it was a really great way to meet other tourists. The tour was beyond my expections with a great coffee!

Unreal tour! Oliver is certainly a cool guru, his tour was amazing! We saw not only the main monuments around the city but also some really cool 'hidden gems' which as a normal tourist without a guide I would have definitely missed! Oliver was a great guide with some really cool stories, loved it!

Polly (who was standing in for Oliver) was a fabulous guide, incredibly knowledgeable and very entertaining.

5 Star evening tour with Oliver! 2 and a half hours of rich history, photos and we even got a coffee! I have paid over 50 euros for a walking tour before and this one was so much better!
