Tour description

Join the 2h guided walk in the famous Jordaan (corona proof) to find the secret courtyards it's famous for. . Once one of the poorest neighborhoods in Amsterdam, the Jordaan is nowadays a very popular hotspot for locals, hipsters and tourists both Dutch and international. Although well known for popular highlights such as the Westerkerk, the Anne Frank House and the shopping area the 'Negen Straatjes', we will be exploring the small courtyards of the Jordaan. In this intimate walk, one of our local guides will show you the numerous small courtyards he used to run around at as a child. Maybe we'll even hear where he got his first kiss! This walk is not about showing you the most obvious spots, though. It's an intimate walk, trying to point out some of the meaningful and fun details that are easily overlooked. The guide will share recommendations for lunch, dinner, beers, and coffee along the way so you can visit again later. This tour is donation-based (cash, debit or credit card, or Tikkie). Hope to meet you there, Vince & Stephan As always, we end with a drink. If more than 15 people join the tour, we split the group. We, therefore, follow the corona rules and keep the tours small-scale and personal. We also do our best to find a nice place for a closing drink. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this due to stricter rules for the catering industry since the end of September 2020
