Tour description

Get ready for a delightful and captivating journey as we embark on a friendly and attractive bike tour of Krakow, where history comes alive!

During our tour, we'll have the incredible opportunity to delve into the rich past of this enchanting city, which once served as the capital of Poland for several centuries.

We'll kick off our adventure with a brief introduction to the central square, where our journey begins. Prepare to be transported back in time as we journey to the 13th century and witness the construction of this iconic square. Imagine the craftsmanship and dedication that went into its creation.

Next, we'll set off on a leisurely ride through one of the most charming streets in the old town. Here, you'll have the chance to uncover the captivating story of a character who was both loved and hated. This individual played a pivotal role during the dark days of Nazi occupation, and learning about their history will offer a unique perspective on the city's resilience.

Our journey continues as we make our way to one of the most beloved monasteries in Krakow. Not only is it held dear by the locals for its spiritual significance, but the monks residing there are also skilled master brewers. Prepare your taste buds for a treat! Additionally, I'll personally recommend an exceptional local pub nearby, known for producing their own delicious craft beer.

Leaving the monastery behind, we'll venture towards a building from the communist era that has been given a new lease on life thanks to the efforts of local micro-entrepreneurs. Witness the transformation of this former abandoned structure and appreciate the spirit of innovation and creativity that thrives in Krakow.

Our next stop takes us to one of the oldest monasteries in the city, which has stood witness to invasions by Tartar tribes. As you reach out to touch the ancient walls, feel the weight of history and let your imagination transport you to a different time.

The grand finale of our adventure takes us to the beautiful Blonia park. Here, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the history of the city's two soccer teams and their historic rivalry, which has spanned over a century. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of friendly competition and passion for the sport.

To conclude our tour on a high note, we'll gather at a picturesque local pub known for its exceptional jazz repertoire. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing melodies while reflecting on the incredible experiences and memories you've made throughout the day.

Remember, we're more than happy to provide guidance on bicycle rental points so that you can fully enjoy this unique journey. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable shoes for a pleasant ride. And, of course, ensure your camera is ready to capture the many unforgettable moments you'll encounter along the way. Get ready for an extraordinary adventure exploring the authentic local sites of Krakow on two wheels!

Such an amazing way to see this great city. Going by bike meant that I could explore further afield. The guide was informative, fun and very knowledgeable. He added bits that you just would not see normally like the rivalry between the football teams. I would definitely recommend this tour for anybody visiting Krakow.... and go to the ship bar the beer was great.
