The tour with Charles was very nice. Actually I did not expected to find a Guruwalk tour in Moshi. The nicer it was, to walk through the city and learn about the people, the life and the history. If you walk alone as a tourist, it is sometimes stressful because everybody comes towards you. Walking with a local gives you some private space to calmly see the city. :)

I was very happy with Charles and the tour. He provided tons of information and gave me a lot of advice for my stay in Moshi over the coming days. I particularly enjoyed sitting with him on the rooftop terrace of Kibo Palace Hotel and having a drink there. I can strongly recommend Charles and his walking tour indeed.

Charles gives a unique impression and introduces you to the remarkable culture of Tanzania. He has extensive knowledge, stemming from his studies in Development and his experience working as a social worker for NGOs. Absolutely recommended, and the view of Kilimanjaro at the end of the tour is simply incredible.

Charles was a Great guide, very knowledgeable about Moshi and Tanzania in general. He showed us all major landmarks of Moshi and even some hidden places where we wouldn’t have went to on our own. Since the tour ends at a rooftop bar with amazing views of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and the sunset, the starting time at 4pm was perfect! We would definitely recommend taking this tour.

Charles gave us so much interesting information, he was very smart and took a lot of time to explain everything or discuss things with us. We enjoyed the tour a lot! Had a great afternoon with Charles! Like others have said before, he is extremely knowledgable, personable, genuine and engaging. He gave a lot of great background information on the history and recent development of Tanzania and Moshi, and showed me to different places that used to be his childhood favorites that I would never have discovered on my own. He also allowed me to navigate the town safely, which would have been difficult to achieve on my own given the sometimes chaotic feeling of the streets and markets here! Highly recommended to get more insight into Moshi and the Kilimanjaro region as a whole.

A great city walking tour of Moshi. Charles is a lovely person with a good sense of humour who speaks excellent English. He’s well educated and very knowledgable about Moshi, Tanzania and African history. The walk was at a nice steady pace and we saw so much of the interesting parts of the town. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful walk through Moshi with Charles. He had many interesting stories to tell about the town, people and culture. It was great to discuss the history and politics of Moshi and northern Tanzania with him. The tour ends with an awesome view of the town and Mt. Kili. We can recommend to do the tour at the beginning of a multiple day stay, so Charles can give you insights and recommend different things to do in and around town. Thank you very much, Charles.

We really enjoyed our tour with Charles! We got a lot of impressions from the local life in Moshi, some history and very nice discussions and information. The cherry on top at the end of the tour was a magnificent view of the city and mount Kilimanjaro. Thank you again. We will be back! :)

Albert is a very easygoing, fun and an amazing guide. The information provided was transparent & accurate. We had an amazing day on the tour (despite some crazy rain :) and would recommend Albert at all times. He knows the area and the people very well and is flexible on how to organize your tour!

Albert wasn’t free in thus day, but he sent a friend of him (Suleiman), he was simply a great guy, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and trustworthy, we spent together almost all the day, he took me to several attractions and was so patient to me, took me photos also, and we had lunch in a lokal restaurant together, I wish meet him again when I come back. Thank you Suleiman and Albert.
