Join this fun free walking tour of London and learn about the British Royal Family and see London's Royal Palaces!
Starting with a walk through a Royal Park, you'll see the iconic Buckingham Palace and discover the truly incredible history of this architectural masterpiece.
You'll learn about the notorious Henry VIII at St James's Palace and see where Prince William and Prince Harry both grew up (and the current residence of Prince Charles) at Clarence House - keep an eye out here as we have seen him on the tour before!
You'll visit the Royal Street of Pall Mall where you'll find the Royal Family's favourite shops and relive the story of the King's mistress that outwitted the Royal Family. You'll also make your way down The Queen's driveway of The Mall towards Horseguards Parade - home of the Household Cavalry - to learn all about the Royal tradition and celebration of Trooping the Colour and the celebration of The Queen's birthday.
With the Palace of Westminster also included, as well as Westminster Abbey - home of Royal coronations, Royal weddings and Royal funerals - this free walking tour of London is a wonderful way to discover all things royalty!
The tour starts outside The Ritz Hotel on the corner of Piccadilly and Arlington Street. The address of The Ritz Hotel is: 150 Piccadilly, St. James's, London W1J 9BR. If travelling by London Underground then the closest station is Green Park Station (Jubilee, Victoria and Piccadilly lines). Green Park Station is approximately a 2 minute walk to the start point. Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
