Welcome to La Antigua Guatemala! One of the best preserved colonial cities in Latin America. This beautiful architectural complex has more than 450 years of history and has witnessed important migrations , from its beginnings to the present day.
But it is much more than this! Antigua is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, full of cultural activities, nightlife and exquisite cuisine. There is so much to enjoy here! Past and present… let's go!
The tour will include some must-see stops such as :
But it will also take you to have experiences such as: the cocoa tasting , while you learn about its history and production . Likewise, you will taste different products made from cardamom and you will learn about its boom in the Guatemalan economy. You will also have the opportunity to appreciate how Mayan women weave their traditional and colorful costumes with the backstrap loom, a technique they have used for more than 2,500 years.
Join my tour, and learn the essential history of Antigua, its legends and curious facts , while we walk through the cobbled streets and appreciate its picturesque buildings. The end of the tour will be in Central Park , where I will give you a map of the city and recommendations for eating, enjoying a drink on a nice terrace and other places of interest so that you can continue exploring the city at your own pace.
