About the Guru

I have studied history and worked as a guide in Spain, now I want to show the city that I have fallen in love with and make visitors participate in the culture and the good vibes it transmits.

About the Tour

Do we know our history? Do we know who makes it?
What if one of the most recent historical episodes in Spain was told to us in France?

After the Spanish Civil War many people were forced to leave the country. About 500,000 crossed the border and of these about 150,000 reached Toulouse.

We will know the places but in a different way; We will do it by meeting remembered characters and heroes and others unjustly forgotten by history. How these people managed to move forward, away from home, away from their family and with an adverse European political situation.

We will start at Dupuy Square , in front of the Halle aux Grains, from there we will go down to François Verdier Avenue, Saint Georges Square, the Capitol, the former headquarters of the PSOE and the UGT, Saint Sernin, Saint Pierre Square and finally we will finish in the Paseo del Exilio Republicano.

Join me to get to know the city that became the desperate hope of thousands of Spaniards, the Ville Rose from a totally different point of view.
