I am 55 years old polish citizen living in Prague. I am a professional translator and tourist guide since 2002. I like working with tourists and enjoy talking about this amazing city. In this time many tourists seems to me a bit lost in this city. I am here to share my expuerience and knowledge. Join my walks and you will get a general orientation in this mysterious city!
You are cordially invited to an atmospheric evening walk in the light of gas lanterns through the often hidden, quiet corners of the old town. We visit narrow, medieval streets, passages, squares and Gothic mansions that form the historic urban fabric of the old town. The idea of the walk is to spread the magic of the Old Town, its medieval atmosphere and to see up close many interesting buildings of the oldest city in Prague. I will introduce you to the history of the old town, you will hear some stories and legends from the old town. We start at the Charles IV monument in front of the Karlsbruecke.
On the route we see the Divadlo Na Zabradli, the St. Anna Church, the St. Giles Church, the Bethlehem Chapel, the buildings of the St. Bartholomew Church, the Coal Square, the St. Martin in the Wall Church , rows of Gothic-Renaissance houses, St. Michael's Church. We end the walk in the Old Town Square in front of the famous medieval town hall clock Orloj
At the statue (Charles IV). I will be there with a big gray umbrella.
