We will start this free tour of Leipzig in Spanish in front of the impressive train station . From this monument we will go to the old town of the Saxon city.
We will pass through several representative warehouses and commercial passages, for which the city became famous during the fairs.
Next we will arrive at the church of San Nicolás . Do you wonder why a huge column in the form of a palm tree appears in front of her?

We will continue the free tour of Leipz next to the university campus, one of the oldest in the country. We will also stop at the opera house and philharmonic building that continue the excellent musical traditions of Bach , Wagner , Mendelssohn or Schumann .
We will pass through the enormous enclosure of the New Town Hall , astonishing you with its size and beauty. There we will see the communist architecture built by the " sword and shield " of the GDR -- the infamous Ministry for State Security . It is where you can say if you want to know a frightening system of permanent surveillance and terror developed by the feared and almighty Stasi or return to the square to enjoy the delicious Saxon food and delicious beers.
