Joseph was a great guide. It was just myself on the tour and it was like walking the streets of Accra with a knowledgable friend. The tour was varied and interesting. Plenty of history and culture and also some great views. Joseph was patient and committed to ensuring I had a good time. I would (and will!) recommend to anyone wanting to explore these iconic sights of Accra.

I will always be grateful to Emmanuel for giving me the opportunity to get to know his community, learn about his language and culture, and hear the history of his country through his own experiences. ❤️ Thank you for welcoming me with so much kindness, for sharing your knowledge, your stories, and a little piece of your home with me. Experiences like this are what make traveling so special, not only seeing new places, but meeting people who help you understand them in a much deeper and more meaningful way. This is definitely one of those experiences I will carry with me for a long time. Thank you, Emmanuel, for making me feel so welcome and for allowing me to experience Ghana from a perspective I could never have discovered on my own. 🇬🇭❤️ I highly recommend Emmanuel as a guide! He is kind, knowledgeable, passionate about his country and culture, and truly makes the experience feel special and authentic. If you have the opportunity to explore Ghana with him, you won’t regret it. ❤️

Emmanuel is fantastic: full of local knowledge, he explained the history of James Town and Old Accra in a fun and interesting way. He taught us greetings in the Ga dialect which we used whilst on the tour, he told us what to expect and made us feel very comfortable. Emmanuel also went above and beyond when we asked for his help finding a tailor - after the tour had finished he took us to a local seamstress, made sure we got a fair price, AND arranged for a courier to deliver to item to our hotel the next day. Oyewalladon Emmanuel! Advice for customers: bring water and wear comfortable shoes.

We enjoyed the tour of the Makola Market, Kweku shared with us the history of Ghana, Accra, and the market. He also took us to the different areas if this huge market so that we could buy things we wanted. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Our tour was very interesting and Emmanuel knew a lot about the history and made it very interesting to participate. The weather was diabolical however he still kept a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm throughout

Great tour with Emmanuel! He took me to many local places I wouldn’t have found on my own and provided lots of interesting information throughout.

Emmanuel had a deep level of knowledge of Jamestown and all the history of it. We visited many different places and met many of the local people on the tour. We didn't see any fishing as advertised and the walk was 4hr 30mins rather than 2hr 30mins as I was told. Overall I would highly recommend doing the tour with Emmanuel.
