Tour description

Free walk to the Mughal style themed Heritage Park in the antique Old Delhi. Beat the maddening crowds of typical Old Delhi spots and rather get refreshed among the lush greenery of this heritage park. This is the best way of knowing Old Delhi's rich history, since you can listen to the guide's narration with calm. Once you are outside the park, the walking no more remains a pleasurable experience as the madening crowds, traffic and hustles plays th spoilsport.
Meet our guide outside "Gate no 4" of "Jama Masjid" Metro Station, & we start walking towards the heritage park and it takes only 7 minutes walking. Reach the park, buy your entry fee costing only INR 10. Now enter into this mesmerising park having “rich stocks” of flowers and shrubberies, including petunia, dog flowers, marigold, carnation, poinsettia, ornamental cabbage, croton and furcaria.
The park offers awesome views of both "Red fort" and "Jama Masjid/Mosque", and our guide will explain the history of these 02 important monuments and about the illustrous "Mughal dynasty" that built those ancient marvels.. This beautiful park was constructed recently only, to offer a peaceful refuge to the history and heritage lovers trying to get a slice of Old Delhi's history. Take a stroll inside the great while enjoying the views of Old Delhi in the company of our walk guide, at a safe distance from the hustle bustles and noisy traffic and crowds.  A white marble-made ‘baradari’ (pavilion) with cusped arches is the centrepiece of this garden while red sandstone, white marble, Dholpur stone, and Delhi quartzite stones have been used in the construction. The park is also endowed with Mughal-style ‘chatris’, stone railings and lamp posts, borrowing design elements from the Red Fort’s ramparts, ornate gates, a sunken open-air theatre, and also has toilet facilities.

At the end of the walk, walkers get tuk-tuk easily to their destinations OR to the nearest metro station which is the "Lal Qila" metro station, which is just 10 minutes walk away.

NOTE: Those who want to explore more, they can go with the guide to the deepest points of "Old Delhi" by hiring a Tricycle Rickshaw Ride costing INR 150 only. Discover the world famous "Spice market" and ancient mansions known as "Havelis", hence another urban adventure awaits you in the heritage and antique quarters of Old Delhi
