Welcome travelers! My name is Diana and I am from Madrid in love with painting in all its aspects. That is why I want to present my tour "Pictures on the street" , where we will see the best graffiti on murals , full of history and color.
Learn about the beginnings of graffiti with Jack the Ripper and his walls stained with the blood of his victims, the first Polish graffiti artist!
I have chosen a series of works that have their origin in contemporary art : pop art inspired by Warhol or Lichtenstein (the comic) , Matisse and Fauvism, TVboy (always hidden) and his irony towards current politicians, in a fun way. and sarcastic.
Suso 33 and her beginnings in Madrid, Gerada and her portraits of women and many more works, which also delve into current feminism.
We will also see the wonderful mural works in the Tabacalera space , which will speak for themselves.
