My name is Marko. I was born and raised just outside the City walls of Dubrovnik overlooking them every morning when I wake up. I am going to share with you my knowledge and experiences from growing up until now. My passions are sports, travelling, and sharing Dubrovnik tradition & heritage. Dubrovnik History Tour is a combination of the Dubrovnik legends, history, and local experience. I want to show you how Dubrovnik was built trough out the years and how everything that happened is reflected by the people today.
I will explain why Dubrovnik was a "trading force" in its prime years as a republic but also why people valued freedom above all other things. Not to overwhelm you with all of the historical facts, I will also show you how people live today, what gets us going, and what customs we still nourish today.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
