Guten Tag! Good day! My name is Carlos, I am from Honduras and I have been living in Germany for 9 years and in Berlin for 3 years. I did a voluntary service in (FSJ in German) in a town called Fürstenberg an der Havel and a Master in International Business in Flensburg. I sincerely LOVE this city because of its history, its freedom, its parties and everything it has lived through to become what it is now. Come with me so you can enjoy the city.
Spectacular Free Tour of Berlin!
We will start at the Pariser Platz (Paris Square) where the embassies of the strongest "empires" in history are located.
We will talk about curiosities of the square, the Hotel Adlon and the famous Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate) .
We will continue to the Gypsy Memorial and the famous Straße des 17.Juni ( Street of June 17 ).
We will then continue to the Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas ( Memorial of the Murdered European Jews ), the Homosexuals Memorial, Hitler's Bunker and Potsdamer Platz with its curiosities.
We will then go up Leipziger Straße until we reach the Topographie des Terrors ( Topography of Terror ) which was the headquarters of the SS and Gestapo.
We will go up to the Gendarmenmarkt ( Gendarmes Market ), Bebelplatz where a historical event in Germany happened and we will finish in Alexanderplatz.
I'll be wearing a blue backpack and black sunglasses.
