Time traveling through the history of Dubrovnik
Living in Dubrovnik my whole life, I've always been amazed by history and culture so when given the opportunity to work as a tour guide I knew instantly that it was the best possible option. Obviously it helped a lot that I have been working in tourism for most of my life as a bartender with a chef's degree as well. I am a licensed tour guide, and also a licensed guide for adventure tours. Let's dive into the depth of Dubrovnik's history together!
Tour description
This tour encapsulates all the noteworthy attractions of the Old Town. You will get deep insight into the history, culture, gastronomy, and art of the Old Town. The tour itself is going to start at the entrance gate of Pile, from where we will enter the Old Town and the main street Stradun, before we start exploring all the riches that the Old Town hides in its side streets. The tour is made to be of appeal to all age groups since it's not made entirely of historical facts but rather of all the exciting things you need to know to truly experience Dubrovnik and the Old Town in all its glory.
The length of the tour is 1,30 hrs. The tour is meant to be more of a relaxing experience, so you don't have to expect too much of the walking. It is made that way to be more approachable to everybody, and it will allow you to soak up all the experience at a leisure rate. The tour involves plenty of stops along the way and since it won't always be possible to catch some shade be sure to bring with you some form of protection from the sun and a bottle of water. If you are looking to find all of the answers to the question „What makes Dubrovnik special? “, be sure to join me on this walk. Welcome aboard!
