To answer all these questions I created the tour dedicated to Gothic architecture in Rome.
We will start with the Franciscan church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli , where I will tell how the Franciscans arrived in Rome and how Pope Innocent III sent the future saint to sleep among pigs;
what difficulties the Franciscans in Rome had to face in the struggle for a place under the sun;
the approval of the Order in the church of Santa Maria in Capitoli and its legend;
history of the church and architectural features;
masterpieces of Santa Maria in Aracoeli.
Then we will take a short walk to the basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva , where I will talk about the founder of the Order of Preachers, Saint Dominic of Guzman, and why it was the Dominicans who became responsible for studies and philosophy;
