Essential Free walking tours of Toledo

I had a great time on Carmen’s tour. Carmen took us along the main highlights in Toledo and sparked our interest by asking us little quiz questions along the way to make it an interactive experience. She gave us many interesting facts about the city and the many cultural aspects! The ones on our group that stayed in Toledo received recommendations for nice places to eat or other activities to do and places to visit which was a really nice gesture. Interessant tur, hvor vi fikk lære om den spanske borgerkrigen på en veldig konkret og pedagogisk måte. Historien fra 1930-tallet oppleves ekstra aktuell i dag. Nita er en god forteller, og vi fikk oppleve deler av Madrid på en annerledes og tankevekkende måte.

It was a great walking tour! Our guide Carlos was professional, polite and had a wealth of knowledge. It is a great way to get to know your way around along with some very useful day to day information.

We were originally going to do our own but I saw this GuruWalk and we decided to try it. I told my family that we can always leave if we are not comfortable or if the pace is too slow for us. Carmen did a very good job with information, trivias and time. I highly recommend going to Toledo with a guide. It makes one understand the history of this place when explained in person.

Enjoyed this walk through the old town of Toledo with Carmen. It encouraged me to look out for the things Carmen pointed out when I was exploring by myself later on.
