Welcome to Guatemala! With me you will know places that only local people know.
We will take a tour of the city center, we will meet at a central point (detailed at the end of the tour) in zone 9. Along the way we will take a transmetro to move around the historic center.
We will start our tour at El Calvario , a cathedral where you will have time to take pictures. (30')
We will continue our tour walking towards the historic center where we will walk seeing its streets and discovering the history that is in them. (1 hour)
Time to stop for a delicious fruit smoothie and a piece of bread at a famous artisan bakery.
We will resume the free tour to visit the Cathedral , one of the largest and oldest churches located in the central park .
We will go to see handicrafts, souvenirs in the so-called Central Market. (1 hour)
In La Merced Church we can taste a famous craft drink in front of the Church. (1 hour)
I will accompany you back to the meeting point.
I invite you to walk with me the beautiful streets of Guatemala, either in Spanish or English.
Tips:
Bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
I will be in the Cúpula building located in front of the Noi cafe, the building will be in front of the Panamericana electronics, I will wear a red cap with the Gallo brand.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
