Free walking tours in Tulum

AMAZING AMAZING experience with Gilmer. He took us to all the private cenotes that were NOT filled with tourists and we got a private local tour. Don't hesitate to book with Him the bikes and snorkels are all provided :) Just make sure to leave him a good tip because he does such a great job and the proceeds are used to keep the local community going since he is involved with the local school and cenot cleaning activities. ALSO MAKE SURE TO WEAR BUG AND MOSQUITO REPELLANT BEFORE GOING TO CENOTE. It's unlikely you'll be able to spray it while you're there since ppl don't like it when you enter the natural water with fresh sunscreen or bug spray.

This was such an incredible experience and a highlight of our trip. Gilmer is super knowledgeable and encouraging to make sure that everyone was confident in what we were doing. It was a lot of fun to snorkel in some less known cenotes and see fish. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

From the very beginning of the tour, we felt completely at ease. Everything that awaited us was explained clearly and thoughtfully, and we were fully equipped with well-maintained bicycles and quality snorkeling gear. It was obvious that great care had been taken to ensure we were comfortable and prepared. Gilmer’s knowledge of the cenotes is truly remarkable. He knows their history, their hidden corners, and their unique beauty in a way that only someone deeply connected to the area can. Beyond his expertise, he is a genuinely warm and generous person who is actively involved in supporting the local community. The proceeds from the bicycles and other tour elements flow directly back into the community, so every cent spent on this experience contributes to something meaningful. The snorkeling itself was an absolute highlight and an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area and are truly grateful to have met Gilmer.

It was fun to explore the cenotes with scuba masks and without life jackets, so we could do free diving. The cenotes were not crowded and were absolutely beautiful. Even the bike rides were fun. Gilmer is a very nice guide!

What an experience! Cenotes in the Yucatan is definitely a big attraction, but this experience was one that should be on your bucket list. Three local cenotes that are pretty much to yourselves, being led by a very knowledgeable, experienced and assuring guide that creates a memory that is different from the rest. A short bike ride from the meeting spot, Gilmer leads you into a few free diving basics, adjusting it for all levels of confidence. Beware that there are mosquitoes and you can't wear repellent, but just something that's part of the environment.

This was a great tour, Gilmer was really accommodating moving the tour around due to the weather. It was just us and the Cenotes we visited were gorgeous. Gilmer was also great with my partner who was feeling a bit nervous/claustrophobic and gave him loads of encouragement and support so he got the best out of the experience. Would highly recommend this tour.

Impresionante!

We had a really really great time. The biking was not too hard but really nice to see the town on a bike. The cenots were great, we really enjoyed the diving and explanations from the gide. The small city is really beautiful and authentic and we really liked that there were not so many people at the Cenots. Would 100% recommend

Such a great tour, we were pleasantly surprised! Gilmer was a such a sweet guide who made us feel really safe eventhough there were a lot of challenges for us as beginner snorklers. Would really recommend it for anyone who is interested in diving in cenotes that aren’t very commercial/touristy, or anyone who just wants to see something really cool. 11/10 experience! 🤩

Super buena experiencia, muchisimas gracias Gilmer!
