Hi, I'm Yoojin.I've lived almost 28 years in Seoul and I know the city well on foot. Design major and a foodie. I'm enthusiastic about the modern and young culture of the city, also dining and drinking (wine and Korean traditional liquor) are my expertise. I will be happy to show you my city.
If you are interested in experiencing what really Seoul's young 20-30's are in for, this tour is for you.
Where we will explore:
We will explore the northern side of Seoul from Bukchon (meaning - 'Northern') Hanok Village and go around Gyeongbokgung Palace (the main palace) and finish around Seochon(meaning - 'Southern'). You will be able to capture your eyes on the traditional side of Seoul and how young people are developing their own culture there harmonizing with the traditional generation and culture.
What we will experience:
1. Good Coffee.
Coffee&Cafe culture is one of the big enthusiasm of Korean people these days. We can explore specialty coffee shops and some very trendy coffee shops where you can get good photos as well as some vibrant coffee menus.
2. Hanok Village Alleys.
My personal enthusiasm for traveling is about exploring. As well as the main tourist spots we will as a group explore together little alleys and meet the views of our personal choice and taste. Discover what YOU like about Seoul.
3. Authentic Food.
I am proud to say I AM A FOODIE. I am a great restaurant researcher only without official credential. LOL. You will get served what you wish to experience in Seoul restaurants. Of course we will move as a group, so my plan is to explore from very neat traditional restaurants to very down to earth traditinal food markets. To show you various side of Seoul cuisine. But, still I'm hoping to hear you out before the tour and plan out the meal course reflecting your taste and wishes as best as possible.
4. Seoul, the young generation.
I am 28 years old, girl-women who lived in Seoul for almost my entire life. I am full of questions and I like to be outgoing and active. I am very deeply part of Seoul's young generation culture.
Especially with my background working as a designer, made me culturally savvy. I have experience and experiencing even in this moment various parts of Seoul. From exclusive to down to earth parts, from modern to traditional, from crowded to contemplative.
Here, after long explanation, I will clear out and point out some key words of what kind of tour would likly to be.
