On January 16, 1920, the 22nd Amendment prohibited the sale and consumption of alcohol in the United States. As Prohibition officers patrolled the streets of New York City, illegal practices and criminal activity were rampant. During the 13 years of Prohibition, more than 15,000 speakeasies were opened. Although many of those bars have since closed, some New York City owners have enjoyed keeping history alive and reviving the underground culture of the 1920s. Todo en este tour estuvo mal: desde el recorrido, las condiciones del tour y sobre todo el guía.
En la página ponía que el tour duraría aproximadamente 3 horas, cuando en realidad el recorrido está programado para 1 hora. De las 6 paradas que muestra solamente hicimos la mitad 3, y en una de ellas no nos dejaron pasar por ser menores de 25 años. Si hubiéramos sabido que había mínimo de edad no habríamos reservado el tour.
Respecto al guía, además de insulso y aportar ningún conocimiento al tour, realizó varias irregularidades. En primer lugar, nos avisó de que en ningún momento se podía consumir alcohol ni por su parte ni por la nuestra. En una de las paradas el guía cogió un vaso de cerveza y empezó a beber, haciéndonos sentir muy incómodos por la situación.
A lo largo del recorrido, el guía no respetaba ninguno de los semáforos que había, poniendo en peligro la integridad de los participantes del tour. Asimismo, no paraba de anunciar el resto de tours que tenían según él con una propina mínima que solía dar la gente de 20$ por persona.
