Hi all, I'm Francis! I'm a fully licenced Tour Guide, and would like to welcome you to Gibraltar, my home town! I like to think of myself as a people person and my goal is ensuring that after your tour, you will all take back home a memorable and outstanding impression of Gibraltar. 🇬🇮 I'm passionate about my little but majestic and unique city. Let me show you around and you too will fall in love with its sights, history, and natural beauty not forgetting our famous Barbary Macaques 🐵. So why don't you join me and discover for yourself this most iconic and world famous “Rock” in a tailor-made tour just for you!
Europa Point is situated at the South end of Gibraltar. On a clear day, breathtaking views across the Straits of Gibraltar and towards Africa (a mere 24 kilometres away) are simply priceless!
We will arrive by car on a short 20 minutes trip from the City Centre. (If you have personal transport there, we can make alternative arrangements). The Lighthouse, Harding's Battery, The Sikorsky Memorial, The Mosque and the Shrine of Our Lady of Europe will all come to life here at Europe's most iconic Southern tip.
You will learn in relation to Gibraltar about the Phoenicians; Greek and Roman mythology and the famous Pillars of Hercules; and a huge 3,000 meter tall waterfall!
The UNESCO World Heritage Site Viewing Platform (Entrance Fee required and closed on Saturdays) will give you an insight on what archaeologists are currently working on at Gorham's Cave Complex and its occupation by the Neanderthals.
Finally, you will bear witness to the impressive 100 ton Victorian Supergun (Entrance fee required) at Nelson's Anchorage. Here the body of Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson arrived at Gibraltar straight after the Battle of Trafalgar on board HMS Victory in a barrel filled with brandy!

Since 1997, this beautiful Mosque is a main feature at Europa Point. Built by the late King Fahad Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia it caters for the Muslim population of Gibraltar.
This shrine was originally a mosque but was later converted into a Christian chapel in 1462. Plundered and pillaged by the pirate Red Beard, its most valuable treasure – the 15th century statue of the Virgin and Child survived – is still venerated there to this day.
The Viewing Platform is within the World Heritage Site and provides the perfect vantage point from which to view the Neanderthal Caves. this facility provides spectacular views and interpretation of the site without risk of causing damage to the fragile archaeology.
HMS Victory was towed to Rosia Bay after Nelson's victory at Trafalgar with the body of Lord Nelson on board. Located within the same area and worth visiting is the impressive 100 Ton Gun installed in the early nineteenth century but never fired in anger.
