Enjoy a guided free walking tour through the historic centre of Copenhagen, the best way to get to know the Danish capital. In addition to discovering the most famous tourist spots in Copenhagen, you will also have the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into the daily life of the city's inhabitants and learn about their traditions and customs.
We are going to discover what this city was like in its beginnings and how it has changed over time. We will talk about history and current events, famous people who have passed through here, and we will take you to see the most emblematic places in the city. We will also visit Nyhavn a tourist magnet of brightly coloured gabled town houses and the famous little mermaid the most iconic sight of the city.
We will start this free walking tour of Copenhagen in Kongens Nytorv square at 10:00 (English) I will be there with a small Danish flag (See second photo). While we learn about some legends and curiosities of the history of the Danish capital, we will continue our guided tour to the famous Nyhavn. This famous promenade, a tourist attraction of brightly coloured gabled town houses along the canal will allow us to enjoy the colourful houses that characterize the buildings of the city.
We will continue our route to Amalienborg Square, the Royal Palace of Copenhagen. In this well-known place we will learn new stories about the palaces and about the royal family.
We will continue our tour to the opera, one of the most luxurious buildings in the Danish capital, after that we will be heading to the church of Saint Alban, the only Anglican church in Denmark, we will tell the legend of the Gefion fountain which is very close to the sea and very close to the Kastellet, a 17th century fortification which we will also mention.
We will conclude the walking tour at the famous little mermaid, which is the icon and symbol of the Danish capital and the most visited and photographed monument of Copenhagen
