Hi, I'm Juan Pablo, your Guru from Guatemala. I love history and being able to share my culture. I am a history teacher and have traveled to different parts of America and Europe. On these trips I have been able to compare and contrast the processes and the essence that unites us as humanity.
Do you want to better understand what Guatemala is, the war, the corruption cases, the local gastronomy, its history and architecture? This is the tour for you! Through knowing the Central Plaza, the Central Market, Sixth Avenue and the surroundings you will be able to understand how to live as a common Guatemalan. I will tell you about the history, but also about the current situation, about our food and our beliefs.
Itinerary:
1. We will tour the Central Park.
2. We will observe the National Palace.
3. We will visit the Central Market.
4. We will visit the Aycinena Passage and discover El Portalito.
5. We will walk along Sixth Avenue until we reach the Police Palace.
