We are a group of independent historians and anthropologists who love to travel around the world telling esoteric stories. We invite you to discover our magical activities and itineraries to share a different way of traveling.
Tour description
Is this perhaps your first trip to Austin? Or maybe even to Texas? Come along with us on this tour of old downtown Austin, as we explore the once sleepy town and its hidden culture amongst the high rises. On this tour we will discover the history of Austin, and its important role as the governmental seat for not only a state but for what was once a struggling republic. We will visit monuments and important homes. We will begin at the City Hall., making our way towards Congress Bridge; Driskill Hotel and Paramount Theater; The Texas Capitol, a Historical Moontower, and many more locations in the old downtown. We will also discuss the city’s earliest inhabitants, the Texas Revolution conflict, and the role Austin played in the early years of the Texas Republic.
*IMPORTANT*
Due to the high temperatures please bring sunscreen, a bottle of water and a hat.
