JC was a very fun and informative guide, he goes into a lot of depth on Spanish history and Valencian history which was very interesting to hear. He also gave us a list of recommendations for food afterwards that we tried and all the places were amazing!

I must start by saying I booked a walking tour with a different company for the wrong day. The tour was to start at 11:00. When I discovered my mistake, I found “guru walk” online with a 12:30 tour. We got an immediate confirmation and off we went to meet Doe. Much to my surprise, there were only six of us instead of the herd of 30 to 40 I was expecting. Now I’m sure the size varies, but doubt they hit the large crowds you normally see stomping down the street. Doe was perfect. Informative, entertaining and passionate about València. I highly recommend touring València with Doe, but please remember to show your appreciation! She is required to pay 2.5 euro per person and with a group much smaller, a bit larger show of appreciation is appropriate if you can afford to. You won’t be sorry!
