Free Walking Tours through the Roman Coliseum

This was the best Tour ever, especially for such a historical place, Eugene was more than a tour guide, he was a walking historian, who would give context to everything around, show every important spot, even answer questions beyond the location and Tour. Highly recommend to this Tour. We enjoyed it so much.

Jacopo guided us through the history of the Roman Empire brilliantly in just two hours. He explained this vast and complex history in a clear, engaging, and entertaining way. His English is excellent, and he led the tour with great enthusiasm and warmth. I haven’t learned this much in such a short time in a very long while. Highly recommended!

Even without entering the monument, we learned so much about the architecture, the politics of the era, and the daily life of ancient Romans. Absolutely loved this tour! Decided to do it before officially visiting all the sites and the next day and would highly, HIGHLY recommend it! Jacob's knowledge as a historian really shined through and he made the tour extremely entertaining and engaging! Loved all the fun facts about the big sites in Rome and got a detailed summary of Roman Empire history. Made me appreciate the sites a lot more, so would definitely recommend to others!
