Hello! We are Eni and Aldo, your local expert guides for Tirana. I graduated in Business Administration but my hobbies are history and culinary, so I decided to become a professional guide. Aldo is more on history and sports. Tirana, the capital of Albania, offers a perfect walking tour and many landscapes for whoever wants to spend their holidays in an active mood and adventure in new cultures and traditions. Our philosophy is to show our country and the whole region how we see and feel it.
A walking tour of Tirana city is a good chance to learn about the history and visit the most interesting historical and cultural places. As our capital, Tirana is the best representative of its varied history, especially the communist era. We will go places and tell stories from the Roman Empire, Ottoman Empire, and Communist era to the present, focusing on making the tour unforgettable.

Important notes:
1. The tour is scheduled to last about 2.5 Hours, but depending on the walking rhythm of the group, it may take a bit longer.
2. Depending on the weather condition and any personal issues there will be days that I may cancel the walking tour, I will notify you the day before the tour is scheduled, so in any case, you will have the possibility to book a tour with another Guru, we are a lot in Tirana.
You will find me right behind the statue of Scanderbeg on the horse. I will be having a small flag of Albania on my hand.
Scanderbeg Square is the center of Tirana, with many historical buildings surrounding it. The history explains itself here starting with Ottomans mosque, continuing with Zog Kingdom times, Communist buildings and recent year.
Toptani pedestrian street is one of the most lovely places to spend your time in Tirana. You will find plenty of history with Bunk Art and Toptani Castle and lots of bar and restaurants, with live music at night.
The Pyramid once it reminded us about our communist dictator, nowadays its transformed to the most appealing youth center.
Its a must if you visit Tirana and want to know about our communist times. You will hear stories told on first person that you have never imagined.
Bllok was the residential area where all the communist leaders were living with restricted access for normal people.
Enver Hoxha's residence is still untouched, exactly like the times that Hoxha was living there.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
