  • WHAT’S IN OUR TOUR?

Discover the enchanting Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town, a medieval jewel brimming with history and charm. As you wander through Gamla Stan, you'll feel as though you've stepped back in time. This historic heart of Stockholm has been meticulously preserved over centuries, allowing visitors to experience a living museum of the past.

Why, you might wonder, is there a street in Gamla Stan that measures a mere 90 cm in width? This intriguing narrow alleyway not only adds to the quaint character of the area but also tells a story of urban planning in medieval times.

The mysterious metal house signs dotted throughout Gamla Stan are not just decorative. Each sign has its own story, giving a unique glimpse into Stockholm's rich past.

And what about the Swedish monarchy? Why doesn’t the King of Sweden wear a crown?

Embark on a journey with our Free Walking Tour through Old Town and immerse yourself in its captivating history, narrow winding streets, and the tales that have shaped this timeless district. Your adventure through the cobbled lanes of Stockholm's Old Town awaits, where every corner tells a story and every stone is steeped in history.

We took a tour on Tuesday morning. Ivana was friendly, informative and professional. She brought the trip to life and her passion is a testament to this lovely city. 100% would recommend this tour to friends if they were to ever visit Stockholm, and hopefully they'll be lucky enough to have Ivana show them around :)

Michał was a very good tour guide, he was looking over us to be safe at all times. He told us a lot of history and fun facts about Stockholm. I fairly don’t like to listen about history a lot but he made it so interesting to get to know this city and country. I think this tour was a great start to begin with our stay in this city.
