We had a truly wonderful time with Balla. His family has lived in Varanasi for generations and he knows the city, its history, its culture and religious stories and rituals very well. He explained so many things and showed us many sights that we never would've found by ourselves. He is genuinely kind, speaks good English, and went out of his way to make sure we felt looked after. Varanasi is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of place, truly unlike any place we've ever visited, and to have a local telling more about what it's like to live in this ancient city is eye-opening. We highly recommend this tour with Balla if you're looking to spend time with a local who not only understands Varanasi and its customs, but also is genuinely kind and lives to support his family. Thank you Balla! And we hope to visit sometime soon again :).

It was grate and wonderful walk. I truly liked the places we had visited. Balla is a absolutely friendly and very nice person, i liked walking with him, he had showed some of not common but interesting places that other guides simply do not know. Definitely recommend 👌🏻👍🏻

I really enjoyed the tour with Sumit . He was an excellent guide in Varanasi Assi Ghat he showed up on time he was explaining about the place with respect that I really appreciated it . to be sincere having been with Sumit it was an extremely effervescent .

A must do tour! My partner and I took part the in Varanasi Food tour lead by Anant. We visited many local spots and tried lots of different tasty treats from samosas to traditional Indian sweets. Anant answered all our questions about the different ingredients and spices that were used. He took good care of us and ensured we tried a variety of foods. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Varanasi!

It was very informative, the guide was nice and professional, and it allows you to see the places you alone wouldn't see from the inside, which is great. For sure it's perfect for someone looking for gifts and souvenirs, for me there was a bit too much of 'you don't have to buy it's while presenting all the things I don't have to buy. Other than that really nice experience.

This tour is a must-do in Varanasi. The city is a maze and difficult to figure out on your own. The tour makes this part easy. Our guide also got us to places we would have never been able to find or see. The guide's english was also fantastic!

Good professional tour guide who knows the city and is willing to also do solo tours. Just ensure you manage time vs what you want to see as the duration of the tour was a bit fluid.

Did the tour to get a first impression of Varanasi. We were a small group which I appreciated. Started with a chai. We saw five different places and also had the chance to make a spontaneous stop at a famous Lassi shop in Varanasi. The guide explained a lot and we had chances to ask questions.
