We’ll start at the Old City Metro Station and immediately step into the ancient heart of Baku: the Icherisheher (Old City). As we wander the cobbled streets, we’ll visit the charming Miniature Book Museum, admire the Palace of the Shirvanshahs from the outside, and stop by the mysterious Maiden Tower — one of the city’s oldest and most iconic structures.
Next, we’ll hop on the Baku Funicular (🎟️ 1 AZN per person) to reach the breathtaking Highland Park. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Caspian Sea, Flame Towers, and Martyrs’ Alley — a moment of peace and reflection above the city.
As we make our way back down, we’ll pass by the beautifully designed Carpet Museum, stroll past the modern Deniz Mall, and take in the canals of Mini Venice before enjoying a refreshing walk along the scenic Baku Boulevard.
Our journey continues through Mehemmed Emin Resulzade Street, leading us to the vibrant Fountain Square, where locals and travelers gather day and night. We’ll end our walk at the famous Nizami Street, Baku’s most popular pedestrian area filled with life, shops, and atmosphere.
