Tour description
Join me on a captivating 2.5-hour walking tour where we explore the hidden layers of this fascinating city. This will be a journey that brings to life places, scars, and the rebirth of the most dynamic city in Europe — because it is exactly here where our recent history took place.
We will meet at the iconic Reichstag, surrounded by stunning modern architecture and relaxing views over the Spree River. From there, we’ll visit the Brandenburg Gate, walk along Tiergarten Park to the moving Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and explore the location of Hitler’s bunker.
We’ll continue to the Mall of Berlin overlooking Potsdamer Platz, a symbol of the city’s dramatic transformation. Along the way, we’ll stop to see a powerful Soviet propaganda mural, visit remains of the Berlin Wall, and end at the Topography of Terror, where the Nazi regime once had its headquarters, among neo-Renaissance buildings such as the Martin Gropius Bau.
