Free local Melbourne Saturday morning walking tour: coffee, markets and parks
Tour description
Spend a local Saturday morning in Melbourne with me, Claire – a South Yarra resident who’s travelled the world and now calls this leafy, vibrant pocket of Melbourne home. After years of exploring cities across the globe, I’ve found that the best way to truly know a place is to walk its streets, chat with its locals, sip its coffee, and wander through its markets – and that’s exactly what we’ll do together.
Meet: South Yarra Station
Stroll down Toorak Road to grab a coffee at a local speciality brewer.
Wander along Chapel Street, soaking up its mix of boutiques, street art, and heritage shopfronts.
Stop at the Prahran Market, Melbourne’s oldest fresh produce market, to browse it's stalls and sample treats (at your own cost).
Meander through the leafy paths of Fawkner Park.
Finish at the entrance of the Royal Botanic Gardens, ready for you to explore at your own pace or continue your Melbourne morning.
By the end, you’ll not only know South Yarra’s streets, but also its stories, flavours, and hidden corners – just like a local.
