Tour description
A historical tour of the city where I can explain the history and show you the old architecture.
The meeting point will be at the Bayfront Promenade, where I will tell you about the founding of Santa Marta. Then we will go to the Tayrona Gold Museum, where you will see artifacts used during the Neguanje and Tayrona periods. I will also provide details about the communities of the Sierra Nevada. We will walk a short distance to Simón Bolívar Square, where I will tell you about the life of Simón Bolívar, the Liberator. Afterward, we will walk through familiar streets and past old houses until we reach the Santa Marta Cathedral Basilica. I will tell you about its construction, and finally, we will end our tour at Parque de los Novios (Lovers' Park).
Free tours do not have a set price; instead, each person gives the guru at the end THE AMOUNT THEY DEEM APPROPRIATE (usually amounts between €12 and $50 per person depending on satisfaction with the tour).
