Free Walking Tours through the Alternative Warsaw

I highly recommend the tour. It's been a great experience! I've lived in Warsaw for a couple of years in the past and recently moved back, and I learned a lot. Maciek is an engaging guide, very well-prepared and invested in his subject. He's extremely friendly and always ready to answer questions, whether or not they directly relate to the places visited. He offers a unique opportunity to discover an important part of Warsaw and opens access to places you would not be able to see otherwise. The tour is cleverly designed to offer insights in the history of queer people in Warsaw and Poland, current political and social climate, and things to do if you plan on staying in Warsaw for a couple of days or a settling there. And it's been great meeting other people taking the tour too!

I highly recommend this walking tour! Maciek is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, filling the walk with wonderful local anecdotes and ‘insider’ stories of Warsaw’s rainbow scene. As a queer woman, I particularly appreciated his openness and his genuine interest in expanding the tour's history to include more stories of women and diverse spaces. He also follows up with great resources if you want to explore more on your own. A vital initiative for the city—don't miss it!

I'm from warsaw and was happy to learn new things about places I see everyday. We saw places of importance concerning history of queer people as well as places popular in everyday life of queer community.
