We had a great time on the Legends Tour in Antwerp with Jocelyn. She was an excellent guide, really professional, friendly, and funny. The whole experience felt very genuine and true to the theme of Belgian legends and it was not commercial at all. Her knowledge of the city’s history was impressive. I loved learning about Belgian folklore and how incorporated it is in the statues, architecture and lives of the people. The walk incorporated these details seamlessly with the route and highlighted details I never would have noticed on my own. The walk to Vlaaikensgang was one of our favourite parts - a peaceful, charming corner tucked away in contrast to the busy streets nearby. If you’re in Antwerp and want to explore the city’s hidden stories, I’d definitely recommend taking this tour with Jocelyn!

Even as Belgians ourselves, we discovered new insights about our country and its history.

Excellent information, Pieter answered every question, had an incredible amount of historical knowledge and, as an Antwerp native, could bring the necessary local perspective to the tour.

Flip was really into describing his favorite city Antwerp! He knows the history of this city and explains it to you in a way that you will understand. Additionally, he continues to check with his group to make sure they are following him!

Great tour with Luc. He was engaging and informative. One of the better tour guides I've had doing free walking tours across the world.

The tour was good overall. I would have liked to hear more about the historical context and wished the size of the group had been smaller. We had like 60 people.

She was very knowledgeable about each location and combined the historical stories and the urban legends to build a fun picture of the city! Her perspective on the story building for the theme of the tour was very refreshing compared to other similar walking tours across European cities. She led us through the cool and shadowy route, accounting for the hot sunny weather, and helped us all expend as little energy as possible, only to be invigorated by her witty quips. It was a wonderful experience altogether!

I was very fortunate to have Maggie as a guide on my free walking tour of Brussels city. Maggie‘s knowledge, passion and love for her city was evident. She showed us the best of Brussels and gave us many insights into the people and places in this beautiful cityand I couldn’t recommend her tour more highly.

The tour with Urban Insight is the best way to discover Antwerpen and feel the local experience and history. Tips of chocolate stores and nice restaurants are a big plus!

Lux D was passionate and playful about his city which was very entertaining as he showed us around- highlighting parts of the city that even some locals had not noticed before!

After several tours from guru walk, this one could be improved. It's not easy for a guru, that only lived in the city and the country for only four years.
