Free Walking Tours through Old Brașov

I’ve done quite a few walking tours and this one was fantastic! Diana focused on the interesting history of Braşov and how it fit into the greater history of Romania. The tour was well paced and very engaging.

Great tour to have not only in Brasov, but as an overall Introduction to the whole of transylvania. Diana was great, and the pdf is a must.

Diana was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of Braşov. She explained the story of Braşov whilst showing us important historical buildings. She also provided recommendations for food and other places to visit.

Diana ci ha accompagnato in una bella camminata immersiva nella storia della città e della transilvania, facendoci scoprire delle cose che da soli non avremmo mai notato e dulcis in fundo abbiamo avuto anche un cioccolatino! Ci ha dato anche dei consigli per cosa vedere intorno a Braşov e ci ha anche consigliato una strada secondaria x il rientro a Bucharest tagliando il traffico.

Diana is an outstanding guide. We did her 2.5-hour Old Town walking tour and learned so much about the fascinating history of Romanians and Transylvanian Saxons — their shared past, their landmarks, and what shaped Brașov into what it is today. She's incredibly dedicated, fun, and brings a great sense of humor that keeps the experience lively throughout. She uses great supporting materials and has a wonderfully warm presence. Highly recommended!

Tour with Diana was very informative, done at a relaxing steady pace and she was very helpful with advice about other local attractions.

Diana was waiting for us and carried a big file full of maps and other photos to help us understand the unique history of Transylvania. She is passionate about Brașov! She arranged a separate tour for the 8 of us a few hours earlier so that we wouldn’t be a group of 14+ 8. She walked at a comfortable pace, always stopped to ask if we had questions or curiosities. She made sure we could stop and use the toilets. When we talked about taking the cable car to mount Tâmpa, she gladly walked us there. When we learned the cable car was closed, she offered to walk us back to old town. We appreciated her honesty, kindness, and history lessons. A wonderful tour guide!

Excellent tour by Diana, she is a Brasov local so you can be sure you will see things you wouldn't find otherwise! There was just the right amount of historical information shared, and she has photos and maps to help with the story telling. I truly felt like we were shown spots only locals know about, all of our stops were quiet and peaceful but full of information. Do this walking tour in Brasov!
