Andrei is the real deal. As two guys on a weekend trip to Bucharest, we weren't sure what to expect from a "tipsy history tour" – but this ended up being one of the highlights of the whole trip. Andrei has a genuine passion for his city and knows how to balance history with a great night out. The traditional bars he took us to were hidden gems we would never have found on our own – authentic spots that felt nothing like the tourist traps in the Old Town. The local drinks (palincă, vișinată) were a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bucharest.

Definitely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Andrei is a fantastic guide and storyteller who makes history interesting and fun. The evening felt very social, like hanging out with friends from all over the world, and the drinks spots were a real highlight. His recommendations after the tour were incredibly helpful too.

Ich habe schon viele Touristen gemachte, die meisten waren sehr gut- aber diese ist die Beste! Man kommt an abgefahrene Orte mit leckeren abwechslungsreichen Getränken und super Essen. Andrei beherrscht die Gruppendynamik wie ein alter Freund, schließt jeden mir ein und sieht für einen unbeschwerten Abend. Die Informationen zu Land und Leuten hat er hervorragend aufbereiteter und trägt sie spannend und unterhaltsam vor. Volle Empfehlung und vielen Dank, André!

History made fun + social interaction + great local drinks. What's not to like? I had a marvelous time on this tour, as it is a social experience that seemed aimed not only to introducing us to the history and drinking spots of the city, but as well aimed at helping travellers make new friends. I would love to go again, next time I'll find myself in Bucharest

Great intro to Bucharest and it's history, and a great way to make new friends in a new city. Andrei was very warm and welcoming, and made us feel like we were all old friends. I loved the stops and the recommendations that I got from him. Great tour, great company. I would definitely go again.

Mal eine andere Art der Stadtführung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir haben einen guten Überblick über die Entwicklung Bukarests und Rumäniens erhalten. Super englisch. Andrei war sehr nett, spontan und natürlich. Wir hätten die Tour direkt am ersten Tag machen sollen, zur besseren Orientierung an den folgenden Tagen.

The tour was very complete, with many historical details. He is a very nice person who makes the time fly and you take some learning with you. And the places he took us to are very local, so much so that I hadn't noticed them in the centre after 3 days walking around. Thanks for the tour.

Andrei has come up with one of the most unique, interesting and entertaining way of getting to know a city. We were a small group so in the drink stops we got to meet the other members of the group which made the experience much more entertaining. Andrei has an incredible knowledge of the city, the history, and legends, we couldn't stop asking questions!

Andrei was lovely. We were the only people on his tour & he could quite easily of cancelled, but he didn't & this made it all the better as we had a very personalised tour with just him & us. The information he told us about Bucharest & Romania were very good & the bars he introduced us to were also very good.. Thoroughly enjoyed this different type of walking tour. Thanks Andrei..

Loved it! Andre's tour does not hurry you along, so you can actually enjoy your drink and company. He presented a complete image of history and life in Bucharest, and offered plenty of recommendations at the end.
