Chiang Mai Food Tour

I was pleasantly surprised. Pom speaks English exceptionally well, was very infortmative, gregarious and gracious with his time. Hey, and the food was good too!

Eine tolle Tour mit sehr guten Informationen und leckeren Angeboten. Wir hätten uns an manche Gerichte nicht heran gewagt und auch die Bestellungen alleine kaum bewältigt. Drei verschiedene Nachtmärkte rund ums Essen und Einkaufen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

TJ is really such a lovely guide! All the stops were really nice and now I know where I am going to eat the next days. TJ is not only providing facts about the food but also about the culture and the daily life of Thai-people. Recommended 12/10!

Wir hatten eine großartige Abend-Foodtour mit Jakkrit! Er war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam und hat die Tour perfekt auf uns als Familie mit zwei Kindern abgestimmt. Statt zu Fuß sind wir mit seinem Auto zu verschiedenen Märkten gefahren und konnten überall köstliche thailändische Spezialitäten probieren. Für unseren fünfjährigen Sohn hat Jakkrit sogar einen Extra-Stopp eingelegt, damit auch er auf seine Kosten kommt – das war wirklich lieb! Wir haben viel über die lokale Küche gelernt, jede Menge Leckereien probiert und hatten einfach großen Spaß. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Jakkrit gave us an excellent tour of various street food stalls and let us taste a wide range of Thai delicacies. In addition, he provided plenty of information about local customs and ways of life.

Our tour with Jakkrit was really nice, we were only the three of us, so he even drove us by car and showed us a lot of good food we wouldn't have tried without him. We joined a food tour at the Chiang Mai market and really enjoyed it! Our guide, TJ, thoughtfully introduced us to a wide variety of local foods and led us through many market stalls. We ate a lot and felt so satisfied and happy. He also shared the vegetables and spices commonly used in Thai cuisine, and we even got to see a Thai wholesale fruit and vegetable market for the first time—a very special experience! Although the walk was quite long, the tour was well-planned and never felt exhausting. I also asked many questions about Thai culture, and TJ answered them warmly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Thai food and markets!

TJ's tour was one of my highlights in Chiang Mai. Really enjoyable relaxed tour. TJ made everyone comfortable with his style and attitude. As a local, you can see TJ is proud of his city. I learnt a lot on the tour about Thai food and culture that I doubt I would have understood otherwise. Plus, the food was incredible! Recommended.
