It was awesome! Mohamed was very kind and entertaining. We learned a lot and explored parts of Marrakech that we would have lost without him.

Maaffar was a fantastic guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the locations he took us to. He gave us a good understanding of what we were eating, how it related to Moroccan culture, and other great info. We enjoyed the food tour so much that we even took another tour with him the next day. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech.

We couldn't have had a better tour. Unluckily it was raining but in return we had the advantage that we were the only persons attending and got an excellent private tour. Although it was raining, Mustapha took his time in explaining everything from architecture and history over culture and religion and the variety of local products, sprinkling a bit of fun to endure the rain in between. He explained us why he chose the route and what was special, and if you pay attention you can see that his is a warm friendly character who was treating us just like his own friends or family. He also gave us recommendations for our upcoming stations during our trip which we appreciate so much ! It was a real pleasure to meet Mustapha who gave this tour a very personal character and we can only recommend it to everybody. Our recommendation is to do it rather at the beginning of your stay in Marrakech, since it will definitely open your eyes for details you would otherwise miss :) Thank you, Mustapha, we feel honoured to have met you. Jamal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns alle Fragen offen beantwortet und nach der Tour auch noch Auskunft über diverse Fragen gegeben. Die Tour war gut geplant und sehr ausführlich. Es hat wirklich Spaß mit Jamal gemacht und gute Einblicke in die Kultur von Marrakesch und Marokko gebracht.

The visit with Mohamed Amine was truly interesting. He taught us about the history of Marrakech and more, including Moroccan customs, religion, and traditions, answering all our questions and satisfying our curiosity. I have a physical disability and therefore I walk with the aid of a walker, but I had no problem following the entire tour. Mohamed pointed out the ramps when there were stairs to climb, or even helped me lift my walker himself. There was also a little girl in a stroller in the group, and that was no problem.

Excellent local guide. Good English, informative and entertaining. Unfortunately the link provided via the confirmation email by Guru Walk, sent us (and others on the tour) to the wrong location, but the guide called us and provided us with his location via WhatsApp to ensure we could join the tour. After the tour, the guide also provided links to local restaurants and attractions he recommended. Highly recommend.

Very nice tour. Youssef is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is passionate about the history or Morocco and Marakech and shared lots of valuable information as well as fun trivia. I highly recommend the tour!

A really good tour

Houcine was an incredible tour guide! I had done a walking tour earlier that day and was excited to go on a food tour with him as well in the evening. Definitely go in with an empty stomach so you can enjoy all of the delicious food! He taught us about the origins of the foods and what customs are associated with them. If you want to truly understand Moroccan cuisine you gotta go on this tour. You won’t regret it!

My friend and I did a walking tour and found it very educational! Houcine gave us all the insider tips from how to navigate the souks, history of Marrakech, to how to negotiate prices. I definitely recommend this tour! You will come out more knowledgeable and passionate to explore the rest of Marrakech!
