Youseff gave us a great introduction to life in Morocco and Marrakesh. This was a great wat to start our trip - to give us our bearings, some useful recommendations, as well as historical and cultural information. Would highly recommend doing a walking tour.

He is so good at telling the histories and embedded language as part of the experience. As language enthusiasts, we appreciated learning new vocabulary. We especially loved how well woven and connected words can be throughout history as well as the culture.

Youssef was an amazing guide. Very patient, knowledgeable and kind. My family and I learned a lot of small intricate details about Marrakesh, Morocco and Islamic history more than anticipated and he curated the tour to our interests and needs (such as starting a little later, stopping to explain in spots with shade and seats, and focusing on Islamic history). I recommend him to anyone looking for a detailed walking tour of Marrakech

Our tour was postponed by one day at the last minute, but Youssef communicated the change clearly and directly. We were very happy that the tour could still go ahead. Youssef provided us with excellent information throughout the tour, and we especially appreciated his helpful recommendations. Youssef is an outstanding tour guide! He took us through the smaller streets of the medina, the zouks, as well as some of the notable landmarks - so I feel like we covered a lot of ground through his tour. Along the way, he shared some really interesting information about Moroccan history, culture, and language. He was very engaging with the group, allowed time for questions, and has a great sense of humor, haha! Youssef's tour was a great way to start my trip to Marrakesh... you will not go wrong with him! We loved our tour with Youssef!! He was so knowledgeable and expressed himself very well in English, not only with information he planned, but also with all the random questions we asked him from everything about cultural traditions, to architecture design, to the storks nesting in the area. When we accidentally went to the wrong mosque, he was responsive and helped us to catch up. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakesh, either for the first time or to learn something new. While 2.5 hours may seem long, this tour includes a stop at the palace which many others do not, and you’re in the shade with so much interesting info that it really doesn’t feel long at all!! Thank you, Youssef!!
