I have been living in Norway for 12 years and in Bergen for 3 years, always working as a tour guide, for a guide company and and also on my own. I love explaining the history that was forged in the streets of what was once the capital of Norway and one of the main port cities in northern Europe. The North Sea has marked the history of this city of cobbled streets and wooden houses and the fishing and mercantile past is still reflected in any the corners of Bergen.
