Hello. I'm Yoshi, 48 years old Japanese uncle. I was born in Hyogo and live in Nara with my wife and a son.
I work at home on the weekdays and I'm doing a guide on the weekends.
I have a license of Japanese teacher and you can ask me about Japanese language and culture.
I speak intermediate English and Mandarin, and a little Korean.
Wonderful tour with some hidden gems of Nara. I would never guess how beautiful it is without our guide Yoshi - we really loved the shrine visit and a special place of the famous Japanese photographer. The deers were fun too!
Yoshi was a wonderful tour guide. He spent time explaining each site in a kind and thoughtful way. I felt he went above and beyond in his dedication to providing a great tour. I had a wonderful experience with him and would recommend Yoshi to anyone wanting to gain a better understanding of Osaka! Arigato gozaimasu.
Yoshi seems a little new to the English tour game, but was informed and helpful. He’s generous with his pacing and allowed for the slow pace of our photo taking and window shopping. He knows the path, Nara customs, and was extremely kind to us. He doesn’t do a ton of chit-chat like many of the other guru’s and tour guides we hired, but he made up for it by answering all of our questions and even took us shopping after.
