Originally a translator by trade, my passion for history and culture made me decide to widen my skills and become a tour guide. I am passionate about Asturias which, despite possible appearances to the contrary, is actually where I am from. I love showing people around my home and helping them discover its history, people and traditions. Showing people from around the world my little piece of the “natural paradise” that is Asturias is truly a passion of mine.
Tom was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and entertaining. He explained everything clearly and invited questions and interaction from the group. He also gave good recommendations on food, restaurants, and places to visit. The day of our tour was unseasonably hot which I'm sure was not the easiest of conditions to conduct a tour, but Tom made sure we were in the shade as much as possible and managed to keep us all informed and entertained. I would recommend his tour to anyone looking to gain a good historical and cultural overview of Oviedo and Asturias.

Oviedo was something of a surprise package for me ,it's a wonderful city with lots interesting history, buildings ,statues and modern sculptures. Tom provided alot of insightful information and kept the tour interesting throughout.
