Hi! I'm Belén — welcome to my profile! I'm the creator of UnBoliviable Experiences, a project born to share the best of Bolivia through authentic and meaningful experiences. I'm a proud Bolivian living in La Paz, with a degree in Tourism and a deep passion for culture, travel, music, and books. I'm absolutely in love with my city and everything it has to offer: from its vibrant streets to its traditions and hidden gems. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and I'm currently learning French and German. I'd love to show you my city like only a local can!
I’ve been on many walking tours, but this one truly stands out as something exceptional. Belén is an outstanding guide—easily the best English-speaking guide we’ve had during our entire two-week trip through South America. Her knowledge, passion, and the way she explains everything so clearly made the experience incredibly enjoyable and engaging from start to finish. What makes this tour so special is how she goes beyond the typical tourist spots and shows you the real, authentic side of the city. We visited so many interesting places and got a genuine feel for how locals actually live, which made the whole experience much more meaningful. This is not just a tour—it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. If you have even half a day available, make sure to book it. I truly cannot recommend it enough!
Belén hat uns viele Aspekte von La Paz gezeigt. Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis, mit den verschiedenen Linien der Teleferico ganz unterschiedliche Stadtteile zu erkunden. Belén berichtete sehr kompetent über religiöse, kulturelle, soziale und politische Bereiche der Stadt und ganz Bolivien. Ich habe selten einen so kompetenten und sympathischen Guide gehabt. Absolutely incredible tour of La Paz, one of the best walking tours we've taken around the world. Belen was lovely and so knowledgeable, and took us to places most tourists don't see. It felt like we were being shown around to the secret places by a friend, and we were so honored to be able to really experience and understand Bolivian culture. It's also super convenient that it starts in Sopocachi, perfect for new visitors who don't know how to use the cable cars yet. 10/10 recommend to any visitor to the city - there's a reason she only has 5 star reviews!
She was an awesome guide and showed us hidden places in La Paz from a local perspective. We learned so much about the culture, indigenous people and also politics. The tour gave us a good overview for our next spots we want to visit. ☺️
