Hi! My name is Alex, and I'm a Sintra native, born and raised among its palaces and centuries-old legends. I know this town like the back of my hand, not just through history books, but by living it every single day.
I'm deeply passionate about nature and history, and I bring that passion to every walking tour I lead. My goal is not just to show you the famous sights, but to share the hidden stories, secret corners, and local insights that only someone from Sintra truly knows.
We enjoyed our tour with Alex a lot. He is a very pleasant young man, knowledgeable of the history and nature of Sintra and surroundings. It was a very nice walk up to the castle of Pena through beautiful gardens and scenic views, doable by anyone with normal condition. Much better than a crowded busride. Highly recommended!
What a great way to explore Sintra, climbing up the hillside from the old town to Pina Palace and enjoying the view and the forest, learning about regional history and iconic locations. Alex was a wonderful guide.
Alex & this experience were both absolutely incredible !! He was on time, so charismatic, patient, and knowledgeable! He also clearly loved the place he was exploring, and the environment itself. Would absolutely recommend spending your morning with this awesome guy to anyone traveling to Sintra:)
Having a tour with locals adds a lot to the experience. Alex is an enthusiastic guide that loves his job. It makes our experience joyful. He was so careful to keep us entertain. We saw stunning landscapes in the mountains, on top of that the info that Alex shared with us was very interesting We had a great time!
