The walking tour of Side, Turkey was an absolute delight! I was captivated by the sheer volume of ancient Roman ruins scattered throughout the charming seaside town; every turn revealed another fascinating glimpse into its rich history. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by just how much there was to see and learn about the ancient city, from the well-preserved amphitheater to the remnants of the agora and temples. Our tour guide, Hakan, was the cherry on top – incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny, making the whole experience not only educational but also thoroughly enjoyable. His passion for Side's history was infectious, and I left feeling like I'd truly connected with this remarkable ancient port city.
Enjoyed the walking experience around the town, showed places, mentioned facts that I would not have known, had I walked around with no guide. Especially appreciated the flexible tour-schedule time!
If I could give even a higher star rating I would. Hakan is great! We had lots of fun on our tour, great love to detail and just very entertaining while being very informative too. We would have missed so much if it wasn't for Hakan. Highly recommend indeed!
We really enjoyed our walking tour of Side with Harkan. We learned lots that we wouldn't know otherwise and even saw places that we would not have spotted on our own. Harken was super lovely and knowledgeable.
