I'm a professional guide from Soweto and passionate about tourism, helping people discover the beauty of my city also giving back to my community. I have been lucky to travel to different cities in the world.
Il tour di Soweto con Nkululeko è stato molto piacevole e ricco di informazioni; il nostro guru ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande e si è trattenuto per oltre un' ora rispetto all'orario previsto con estrema tranquillità . Esperienza molto bella!!
The tour with one of the Nkululeko’s guys was very interesting. It starts in a non-touristic place which has been really curious to walk through! It has been a good experience!
That was a great tour! Ideal for someone that wants to see Soweto in a nutshell. Nkuli is a local and knows a lot about the place. I feel like I learned a lot during this afternoon, and ended up having some great local food recommended by him.
We took an Uber to the meeting point, but before getting down at the "hotel" our driver warned us this wasn't a nice area. I was expecting to meet our guide outside the hotel, but there's no hotel, just ruins and a lot of people selling on the street. We passed in the car and could not see the guide with the red cap. We parked nearby (close to the police, because there's where the driver felt was safe enough) and tried to contact him via guruwalk messages but he didn't reply.
Our guide Thabiso was just perfect for this tour of Soweto! We're a family of 9 people including 2 young children and we felt completely secure, Thabiso was very patient, with good historical and cultural explanations. We wouldn't expect a better moment, it was great!
