Come and walk with me through the rich heart of Japan. Let’s make unforgettable memories together in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara!
Looking forward to meeting you soon —
Let's have fun and explore!
The guy doing the tour cancelled it without letting anyone know. It was only until I contacted him, that's when he informed of the cancellation. At that point, I was already waiting for him at the meeting point so I had already wasted my time and money to get there. Additionally, when I pushed back how he should have told me about the cancellation, he just gave attitude back. His reasoning was the "unsafe" weather - it was light rain which had been forecast for over a week. Even if he didn't want to do the tour in light rain, he should have told us beforehand! Very unprofessional and unconcienous.
I attempted multiple times to get him to understand that the pin he sent was not helpful. We were at his intended location but did not see him. I told him landmarks we were near but instead of giving additional details of where he was, he just kept referring to the pin location provided.
Ahmadzai messaged me at 10:32 am on the day of the tour which started at 12 noon asking if I was going to attend. I was on the train and standing all the way coming from Kyoto so I didn't see the message until I got off which was at 11:23 am. I responded that yes I am almost there. He said sorry you responded late, and that we were the only booking and that the guide has gone to Osaka. But we had already reached there well before the start time. When I told him it was unprofessional to cancel like this he started giving weird reasons and I quote 'There were two other bookings also which just have been canceled at the last minute so who will compensate for that? Or you just thinking about yourself'. I have used guruwalks all over the world and this guy was the only bad experience ever! Guruwalks please remove this guy from your page. He is ruining your good name! I can send screenshots of the WhatsApp chat if you would like. Unbelievable!!
Great tour. I highly recommend. Karim really knows his stuff and the history of the city.
