Sono guida Cadastur da oltre due anni e ho più di nove anni di esperienza nel turismo. Ho viaggiato in diversi stati del Brasile e sto programmando di visitare nuovi paesi. Parlo correntemente inglese e spagnolo. Sto anche studiando il francese. Eduardo didn’t turn up. The tour was to start at 8:00 and we were advised to arrive 10 minutes early. We arrived at 7:40 and waited until 8:30. I messaged him twice, no response. I wish I could give 0 stars, very poor!
Es un tour muy entretenido, se visitan cascadas, cuevas y lugares históricos, Eduardo compartió mucha información historica con nosotros, pudimos refrescarnos en una de las cascadas la cual era espectacular. En todo momento nos tuvo paciencia para hacer el recorrido, ya que algunos lugares teníam un poco de complejidad. Se puede hacer tranquilamente sin preparación previa, pero sería recomendable tener un estado físico aceptable. Caminar por el medio de la selva tiene su encanto. Sin dudas es un tour para recomendar, para hacer algo distinto y único en Rio de Janeiro.

Booked Free tour in Tijuca Forest, caves and waterfalls! in English. 4 adults . We were looking forward to the tour. Was to start at 8 am. We awoke early to get a Uber the 30 minutes to park. At 630 am had a pop up whatsapp message dated 1030 am the day before. I had not received it until 630 am the day of tour. The message was asking to confirm the booking. I immediately at 630 in morning sent a confirmation saying this was first time I received the message. Whatsapp said person was unavailable. I checked guru app... no messages ..the tour still stated as confirmed. It showed last time guru was on the message board was 5 days prior We were in the Uber traveling to pick up spot when I received a whatsapp message stating tour was cancelled. This was at 7:15 am. Because we didn't confirm. guru had only sent the one message asking for confirmation. Guru stated he wasn't available for another tour until Tuesday (2days later) . We ended up going on our own from 8 until about 2:30. Had a good time on our own. Visited : several waterfalls, several caves, visitor center and other. Also had a excellent lunch at the restaurant in the park. Used Uber to get back to Ipanema beach area where we are staying. Was frustrated that the tour was cancelled but had a great time anyway.
The walk with Eduardo through the National Park was really great. We saw waterfalls, could have a shower underneath, and even climbed through a cave. Eduardo took his time, explained everything well, and spoke English. You need to be fit for the walking and climbing, but that’s the most fun part. I would definitely recommend doing the walking tour to explore the park!
